Summary:The round table “Global and regional security in terms of the changing world order” was held on April 26, 2017 at the Department of comparative political science of Lomonosov Moscow State University. In the course of the discussion the necessity of reevaluating the concept “security” with taking into account new challenges and threats to the contemporary world order was considered. Regional security was analyzed from the global perspective, regarding its influence on the world political processes. The delegates’ attention was primarily focused on the analysis of the Russian security policy, the tendencies of the Eurasian integration and the intergovernmental organizations activities. This round table gave postgraduate students an opportunity to exchange the ideas and to form a holistic view on global and regional security. Professor P.A. Tsygankov was the moderator of the round table.
