The Arctic Ocean governance through the prism of international regimes theory -- Arctic Ocean governance is continuously evolving in the image of the geographical changes affecting the region. While it embodied the military tensions between the Russian and American powers during the Cold War, its management is now presented as an example of peaceful cooperation between Arctic nations. This article aims to analyse changes that have marked the Arctic Ocean governance in the light of international regimes theory. It will be shown that from a highly fragmented governance at the dawn of the 2000s, it has gradually taken the form of a regime complex in which coastal States enjoy significant jurisdiction. La gouvernance de l’océan Arctique évolue continuellement, à l’image des mutations géographiques affectant la région. Alors qu’elle incarnait les tensions militaires entre les puissances russe et américaine durant la Guerre Froide, sa gestion est aujourd’hui présentée comme un exemple de coopération pacifique entre les nations arctiques. Cet article se propose ainsi d’analyser les évolutions qui ont marqué la gouvernance de l’océan Arctique à l’aune de la théorie des régimes internationaux. Il sera montré que d’une gouvernance fortement fragmentée à l’aube des années 2000, celle-ci a progressivement pris la forme d’un regime complex au sein duquel les États côtiers jouissent d’une compétence considérable.
