| Summary: | La historia del continente blanco ha resultado así un libro casi exclusivamente escrito por extranjeros, interesados en respaldar la expansión imperialista de las potencias de donde son oriundos y en perjuicio de los territorios de los países sudamericanos de Chile y Argentina. Para corroborar lo dicho, basta observar la bibliografía y las citas de quienes en Argentina, investigan sobre la temática mencionada. No obstante lo dicho, hay una profusa producción nacional referida a la Historia Antártica, desde quienes relataron sus vivencias en primera persona durante su estadía en el Continente helado, pasando por otros autores que rescataron relatos, vivencias o experiencias de otros y quienes, dando un carácter científico a sus obras, buscaron, analizaron e interpretaron distintos tipos de fuentes para presentar sus escritos y ponerlos a consideración de la comunidad interesada o estudiosa de estos temas. The history of the white continent has thus resulted in a book almost exclusively written by foreigners, interested in supporting the imperialist expansion of the powers from which they are based and to the detriment of the territories of the South American countries of Chile and Argentina. To corroborate this, it is sufficient to observe the bibliography and the quotes of those in Argentina investigating the subject mentioned above. Notwithstanding the above, there is a great deal of national production referring to Antarctic history, from those who reported their experiences in the first person during their season in the ice-cream continent, from other authors who rescued stories, experiences or experiences of others, and who, given their scientific character to their works, sought, analysed and interpreted different types of sources in order to submit their written submissions and put them to the attention of the community concerned or studied on these subjects.
