Description
Summary:The myrionematoid brown alga Ulonema rhizophorum Foslie (Phaeophyceae, Chordariaceae) is reported for the first time from the Mediterranean Sea. This species was collected growing as an epiphyte on Ulva sp. from the Dardanelles (Sea of Marmara, Turkey) in the midlittoral zone.
