Summary: | Koulutuksella on keskeinen merkitys ihmisvoimavarojen käytön lisäämiselle. Opinnäytetyö käsittelee, miten bioenergian koulutukseen suhtaudutaan Venäjän puolella, mitä siitä tiedetään ja onko venäläisissä kouluissa kiinnostusta yhteistyöhön. Venäjän hallitus aliarvioi bioenergian kehityksen tarvetta maassa. This thesis analyses the importance of education regarding the reproduction of human resources. The thesis examines the attitude in Russia towards bioenergy, how it is understood, and if Russian schools are interested in international cooperation. The Russian government has underestimated the need to develop bioenergy in the country. Increasing environmental problems, in addition to a dwindling supply of unrenewable resources, has led Russia to consider the use of renewable energy. The country does not have specialized equipment, bioenergy industry experience, or enough qualified staff. The target groups of this research are the secondary and tertiary schools in Russian Karelia and, more specifically, the technical forestry school in Petrozavodsk due to its administration showing a desire for international cooperation.
