| Summary: | Opinnäytetyömme tavoite oli tuottaa Tornion kampukselle saapuville Erasmus-opiskelijoille opas, jossa annetaan perustietoa Suomesta, Torniosta, Haaparannasta, Humanistisesta ammattikorkeakoulusta ja Tornio-alueen palveluista. Opinnäytetyön perusta on lähtöisin omista kokemuksista Erasmus-vaihdosta. Oppaalla ei tule olemaan suurta merkitystä koko ammattialalle vaan Tornion kampukselle. Oppaasta tulevat hyötymään lehtorit, vaihto-opiskelijoiden tutorit ja etenkin vaihto-opiskelijat. Opas on tehty mahdollisimman yksinkertaiseksi ja siihen on sisällytetty tärkeimmät tiedot, joita vaihto-opiskelija tulee tarvitsemaan opiskelun aikana. Oppaan idea on auttaa vaihto-opiskelijoita pääsemään nopeasti selville ympäristöstään ja sitä kautta helpottaa kulttuurisokkia ja sopeutumista uuteen ympäristöön. Our final thesis aim was to produce the guide for Erasmus students who will come to Tornio campus. Idea was to make a guide for incoming Erasmus students that provide basic information about Finland, Tornio, Haparanda, University of Applied Sciences Humak and services in the Tornio area. The basis of this final thesis comes from our own experience of the Erasmus exchange. This guide is not going to be the great importance for the entire professional field, but for the Tornio campus. Guide will benefit from the lecturers, tutors of exchange students, and especially exchange students. The guide is made as simple as possible and incorporates the most important information, which the exchange student will need during their studies. Guides idea is to help exchange students get to know the environment quickly and thereby facilitating the culture shock and adapt the new environment.
