Summary:A hand-drawn survey of the division of Jonathan Ayres land on beaver creek. Lot No.1 (74 acres) went to Nancy Ayres along with two slaves, Wiley and Mary. Lot No. 1 is adjacent to John Coward's land. Lot No. 2 (84 acres) went to John Marley and Betsey Ayres along with two slaves, Fanny and Matilda. Lot No. 3 (73 acres) went to Joseph Ayres along with two slaves, Americus and George. Lot No. 4 (68 acres) went to Daniel McCollum and Polly Ayres along with two slaves, Eliza and Lucinda. Lot No. 4 is adjacent to Robert McBath and Michael Childers' land. Jonathan Ayres was an early settler of Knox County. This plot is in north Knox County along Beaver Creek, near Emory Road, one of the early thoroughfares in the area.
