Description
Summary:I was asked to take part in a podcast (made live in June 2023) An Artist and a Planet. A series of podcasts created by MIMA, Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art, inspired by MIMA’s dedication to the environment. Artists and researchers were invited to talk about ecology and the environment, and to share behind the scenes research from MIMA’s artistic programme and research from across Teesside University. In the discussion with Charlotte Nichol, we reflected upon my recent drawing investigations made from web cameras in Iceland, which revolve around ideas connected to landscape, distance and embodiment in making, the practice of drawing and roads around Iceland.
