Comparison of genes under selection based on pN/pS ratios for each sampling region.

For each gene highlights the ratio of non-synonymous substitutions per non-synonymous site (pN) to synonymous substitutions per synonymous site (pS) across the three sampled regions, as well as a test of significance using the Chi squared p-values. Bolded ratios indicated those pN/pS ratios greater...

Description
Summary:For each gene highlights the ratio of non-synonymous substitutions per non-synonymous site (pN) to synonymous substitutions per synonymous site (pS) across the three sampled regions, as well as a test of significance using the Chi squared p-values. Bolded ratios indicated those pN/pS ratios greater than or equal to 1 suggestive of directional selection and those pN/pS ratios that have statistically significant p values. Polymorphic sites were determined using SnpEff and potential nonsynonymous/synonymous sites were determined using the coding sequence for each gene as input for DnaSP v6. (Rozas et al. 2017 [ 68 ]).
