Summary:Additional file 1: Table S1 Mean living-tree biomass (above and belowground) for different forest categories and site conditions. Plots, where site conditions were not clearly identified, were excluded from the respective part of the analysis. The two lower and higher forest-size classes in the forest-dominated area were combined for the statistical analysis, because of the small dataset for forest edges. SE = standard error, n = number of plots. Underlined data are not representative because of insufficient size of the respective dataset. Fig. S1 NDVIm of forests in the study area.
