Summary:This report documents the findings of an archeological survey of TxDOT's proposed Campus Consolidation project in Austin, Travis County, Texas. On September 5-7 and 11 Ama Terra surveyed a 49-acre parcel proposed for TxDOT's new administrative campus. The survey consisted of transect pedestrian inspection. 54 shovel tests and 8 backhoe trenches. The survey documented one prehistoric site. 41TV1284, which is a previously recorded site. The boundary for this site was redrawn as not eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places or as a State Antiquities Landmark. No further archeological work is recommended for this site or any other portion of the 49-acre parcel.
