Description
Summary:This mortuary (centre) was carved with a double-finned killer whale with frogs on either side of its flukes. The mortuary originally had a plain frontal plaque, and the separately carved double-fins have fallen off the back of the whale and you can see two notches in the back where they would have been attached. The mortuary to the right displayed a carved beaver with four potlatch rings on its head and a painted plaque. At the base of the post are five small, seated human figures. In the background are two of the burned mortuaries from the south end of the village.
