Summary:Left: Mortuary pole erected for Gwa.igixa, a name which reffered to the medicinal plant. Gwa.igixa was of the Dijigua Town People, one of the Eagle families who occupied the village. Once above the carved ealge was a plaque that had a painted Eagle design. Right: Mortuary Pole erected for Xaosti, an owner of a house in the village of Skedans. The pole has the figure of a Killer Whale eating a seal at the base, above is a grizzly bear eating a boy. The pole originally had a plague at the head of the pole.
