Description
Summary:SPU’s Marriage and Family Therapy graduate program has developed a relational posture we call an ORCA-Stance. We will tell our story of the development of ORCA rooted in our faith, facilitate experiential exercises for participants, and explore application for engaging others. The experiential exercises will provide an opportunity for participants to begin a grounding in the four integrated aspects of our ORCA-Stance: Openness, Respect, Curiosity, and Accountability to Social Power. Discussion will explore application and integration of the ORCA-Stance for engagement within relationships and contexts with a particular emphasis of embracing diversity.
