Hotel Rainier-Grand and Seattle Electric Company 1st Ave. near Marion St., ca. 1909

The Rainier-Grand Hotel, located at 909-915 1st Ave. opened in 1894. It was demolished in 1930 to make way for the new Federal Building. A sign for the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition appears at the right.
