Description
Summary:This gridded dataset on Arctic sea ice concentration (SIC) for 1901-2019 is jointly constructed by the scientists from Russia, Norway, and China. The Arctic SIC data were reconstructed in 40°-90°N domain based on the established co-variability between SIC and surface air temperature, sea surface temperature, and sea level pressure patterns. For the rest of the globe HadISST1 data on SIC are used. Ice-free grid points and land area are filled with zeros.
