Summary:We present a record of pampas cat for Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic Region, Chile (51°00'23.03" S; 72°36'45.15" W), this being the first confirmed report of the species in the Region since the 1980’s. The record was obtained as part of a carnivore monitoring program in Cerro Guido ranch which started in January 2019, and included 63 camera-trap stations and a sampling effort of 10,422 trap/nights. Presentamos un registro de gato del pajonal para la Región de Magallanes y la Antártica Chilena, Chile (51°00'23,03" S; 72°36'45,15" O), siendo este el primer reporte de la especie en la región desde la década de 1980. El registro se obtuvo como parte de un programa de monitoreo de carnívoros en la Estancia Cerro Guido, comenzado en enero de 2019 y que incluyó 63 estaciones de trampas cámara, completando un esfuerzo de muestreo de 10.422 trampas/noche.
