Bernard R. Hubbard, S.J.

Father Hubbard, the "Glacier Priest", was Santa Clara's biggest celebrity during the 1930s. He was a member of SCU's Geology Department, but spent much of his time exploring Alaska. His audio-visual presentations on his travels made him the highest paid lecturer in the country.
