| Summary: | This article is devoted to the improvement of education system in Khanty – Mansi Autonomous District – Yugra in the light of philosophical and theoretical approach to life of small indigenous peoples living in the region. We consider the history of development of education, examines one of the first sources of regulatory Russian Empire «Charter on the management of foreigners», as the document establishes the rights of small indigenous peoples to education. Analyzed philosophical worldview of Khanty, Mansi, Nenets. Argues view on the feasibility of preserving national schools and ways to address this issue. Статья посвящена вопросам совершенствования системы образования в Ханты-Мансийском автономном округе – Югре с учетом философско-теоретического подхода в целях жизнеобеспечения коренных малочисленных народов проживающих на территории региона. Рассматривается история становления образования, анализируются философско-мировоззренческие взгляды ханты, манси, ненцев. Аргументируется точка зрения о целесообразности сохранения малокомплектных национальных школ, приводятся пути решения данного вопроса.
