Summary:This article examines the applicability of eco-intensity as an indicator of regional transition to enviro-economically balanced development. We conduct an analysis of eco-intensity by various types of consequent pollution and compare the results with absolute measures of pollution in Kamchatka krai. Finally, we draw conclusions related to the applicability of eco-intensity as an indicator of enviro-economic balance in the region’s development.
