Summary:Most of the existing experimental and theoretical studies concern the combustion of methane hydrate. There are no works comparing the features and differences of combustion of different types of gas hydrates. In addition, there is a lack of data on the comparison of different combustion methods. It is also worth mentioning the complexity of physical analysis, which is associated with a large number of key interrelated factors. The present study deals with the combustion of methane hydrate and double gas hydrates of methane-propane and methane-isopropanol. Simple expressions are obtained to estimate the effect of several key factors on the dissociation during combustion: dynamic, thermal and geometric parameters of the working area. A comparison of dissociations of different types of gas hydrates in different methods of combustion organization is presented for the first time.
