Summary:Historical thinking resource pack of 6 history lesson plans for Queen's University Faculty of Education B.Ed. course: Intermediate-Senior History. Have students explore the period between the Second World War and the Constitution Act of 1982. Within this period, students will be able to understand the significance of political and governmental events as well as the impact such events had on the lives of Canadians. Moreover, students will be able to understand the creation of key social welfare programs that were created and expanded during this period and explain their significance. In order to do this, students will look at evidence, continuity and change, cause and consequence, the ethical dimension as well as the significance and historical perspective of these specific events
