| Summary: | "Be transported to the edge of the world when author Kári Gíslason (The Promise of Iceland) and broadcaster Richard Fidler share dazzling stories, sounds and images from their Icelandic adventure in Icelandic Sagas. In 2015, the pair travelled to Kári’s birthplace to record stories of the Icelandic sagas—tales from the lives of the early Viking settlers. Today the sagas are regarded as monuments of world literature, as they detail the great voyages, the long-held feuds and the dramatic love stories of the times.
