| Summary: | This article presents the history, memory and preservation of the old Fazenda do Bispo or the Episcopal Seminary of São Paulo, dating from the 19th century. In this text, one can notice the before and after of this heritage that belonged to the bishop of São Paulo Dom Antônio Joaquim de Melo (1791-1861) and then to the Episcopal Seminary of São Paulo, passing through the Ferreira Barros family and putting an end to the City Hall from Sao Paulo. O referido artigo apresenta a história, a memória e a preservação da antiga Fazenda do Bispo ou do Seminário Episcopal de São Paulo,datada do século XIX. Nesse texto, pode-se notar o antes e o depois desse patrimônio que pertenceu ao bispo de São Paulo Dom Antônio Joaquim de Melo (1791-1861) em seguida ao Seminário Episcopal de São Paulo, passando pela família Ferreira Barros e pôr fim a Prefeitura de São Paulo.
