Efforts are being made to restore river passage -- from Passamaquoddy activists working to restore access on the St. Croix, and people like Bailey Bowden, with the support of Ciona Ulbrich of Maine Coast Heritage Trust, among other, trying to restore the alewife run in the Bagaduce watershed.
