| Summary: | The article deals with the economic activities of the Old Believers of Dvina region on the basis of ethnographic and historical sources of the second half of the XIX – early XX centuries. We come to the conclusion that during this period most of the Old Believers of the region were engaged in agriculture (agriculture). In this sphere this ethnic group did not differ much from the local Belarusian population. But since the middle of the XIX century the number of those who were engaged in crafts, crafts and trade has been growing. The article describes the agricultural activities of Old Believers, their crafts and trades. В статье рассматриваются хозяйственные занятия староверов Подвинья на основе этнографических и исторических источников 2-й половины ХІХ – начала ХХ в. Приходим к выводу, что в обозначенный период большая часть староверов региона была занята в сельском хозяйстве (земледелии). В этой сфере данная этническая группа мало отличались от местного белорусского населения. Но с середины ХІХ в. возрастает количество тех, кто занимался ремёслами, промыслами, торговлей. В статье охарактеризованы сельскохозяйственные занятия старообрядцев, их ремёсла и промыслы.
