A sedimentary model and a paleogeography of the glacial margin are proposed. Pendant la dernière période glaciaire (Würm) la chaîne du Jura fut recouverte par une calotte de glace indépendante de la calotte alpine. Le plus bel ensemble des dépôts de la marge glaciaire a été étudié dans la zone de la Combe d'Ain. Les principales unités lithologiques et morphologiques caractéristiques ont été décrites. Un modèle sédimentaire et une paléogéographie de la marge glaciaire sont proposés. |
