Description
Summary:Based on the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data set, empirical orthogonal function analysis and correlation analysis have been carried out. Antarctic oscillation index (AOI) is defined as the difference between the zonal-mean monthly sea level pressure departures of 40 degrees S and 65 degrees S. Regional surface temperature and precipitation over the extratropical Southern Hemisphere have a close relationship with AOI. http://gateway.webofknowledge.com/gateway/Gateway.cgi?GWVersion=2&SrcApp=PARTNER_APP&SrcAuth=LinksAMR&KeyUT=WOS:000074483800009&DestLinkType=FullRecord&DestApp=ALL_WOS&UsrCustomerID=8e1609b174ce4e31116a60747a720701 Multidisciplinary Sciences SCI(E) 30 ARTICLE 9 734-738 43
