Age model from ODP Site 175-1085

We used the positions of the calcareous nannofossil events from this study, combined with shipboard data, as tie-points to develop the age model between 526.87 and 182.00 m. Between two successive tie-points, the sedimentation rate was assumed constant. The time scale used is the Geological Time Sca...

Description
Summary:We used the positions of the calcareous nannofossil events from this study, combined with shipboard data, as tie-points to develop the age model between 526.87 and 182.00 m. Between two successive tie-points, the sedimentation rate was assumed constant. The time scale used is the Geological Time Scale 2020 (GTS2020; Raffi et al. (2020, doi:10.1016/B978-0-12-824360-2.00029-2)) and is based on calcareous nannofossil biochronology provided in GTS2020.
