Description
Summary:The main goal of RV Meteor expedition M186 was to investigate fluid dynamics on the Azores Plateau, Central North Atlantic Ocean. The work is systematic continuation of multiple expeditions (e.g. M113, M141/1 and M162) in the region in the last decade. The first results of M186 confirm a diverse picture of fluid chemistry that was already known from previous cruises. Fluids dynamics and systematics are diverse here, shown by different trends in major elemental composition in short distance.
