GNSS intermediate frequency data snippets measured from POLARSTERN deck during the leg 4 of the MOSAiC expedition with POLARSTERN to the Arctic

GNSS intermediate frequency (IF) data samples acquired by the NTlab NT1065_USB3 Front End. The samples are collected with a sampling rate of 99.375MHz at IF for four GNSS Bands: GPS L1 (1575.42 MHz), GLONASS L1 (1602 MHz), Galileo E5b (1207.14 MHz), Galileo E5a (1176.45 MHz) with a resolution of 2 b...

Description
Summary:GNSS intermediate frequency (IF) data samples acquired by the NTlab NT1065_USB3 Front End. The samples are collected with a sampling rate of 99.375MHz at IF for four GNSS Bands: GPS L1 (1575.42 MHz), GLONASS L1 (1602 MHz), Galileo E5b (1207.14 MHz), Galileo E5a (1176.45 MHz) with a resolution of 2 bit (for detailed file description see readme.txt). The front end was equipped with a multi-frequency GNSS antenna which was mounted on the ship's observation deck. It has to be noted that the main mast and the ship's chimney lead to a shadowing of GNSS observation links in at least two directions seen from the antenna position. The data was collected for measuring GNSS IF data in the central Arctic. For that purpose data was periodically collected during the whole MOSAiC expedition (files labeled with 'fperiodic'). Moreover, it was desired to collect date during scintillation events. The files labeled with fevent are collected during periods of increase scintillation index as provided by processed GNSS raw data (doi:10.1594/PANGAEA.956019).
