Free-dried and milled bulk samples from core PS97/085-3 were taken at 10-cm intervals for determination of sediment water content, densities, organic carbon, carbonate, and biogenic opal. Micromeritics AccuPyc 1,330 gas-pycnometers was used to measure the density of the dried sediment samples (ρd)....
