Description
Summary:The meteorological observatory Neumayer regularly launches radiosondes. In June 2018 the radiosonde model was changed from Vaisala RS92 to RS41, since production of RS92 has been discontinued. In order to control possible brakes in the timeseries of the measured parameters a two year transition phase was carried out at Neumayer station. During this phase tandem soundings (i.e. one balloon carrying both sonde models) were performed approximately once per week. This dataset contains the raw data from comparison sonde (RS92). The measurement interval of the raw data is typically 1s. All data published here is left as recorded, no quality control was applied.
