Description
Summary:DAL5 GNSS long-term raw-data series is aimed at contributing to the scientific research of Earth-System-involved global- as well as Antarctic-regional processes, improving International Terrestrial Reference Frame (ITRF) redefinitions, and benefiting society through enhanced GNSS-derived applications and services. The dataset was gathered at the Argentinean (Antarctic) research station Carlini in the year 2021. Approximate position in ITRF2014 frame at epoch 2021.5: X=1548353.18m, Y=-2544422.05m, Z=-5621100.41m or in (GRS80) ellipsoidal coordinates: lat=62°14'26.663"S, lon=058°40'41.873"W, h=44.2m, orthometric height above EGM2008 geoid amounts 22.4m. GNSS receiver: TRIMBLE 4000SSi (SN: 3238A01419), GNSS antenna: Trimble TRM41249.00, (SN: 12325440), Sampling interval: 15 seconds. Each of the 365 archive files DAL5_2021xxx.tar.gz covers one day and typically consists of two individual files: TRIMBLE proprietary binary file (*.dat) and RINEX observation file (*.21o). RINEX format version is 2.1.
