Summary: | Since 1983, the meteorological observatory Neumayer typically launches one radiosonde per day around 12UTC. Since 1992, at least weekly the sonde has an ozone sensor attached. The measurement interval of the raw data has been reduced over the decades, the latest data has a 1s resolution. Data is quality controlled: Erroneous data is removed (technical issues). Partial pressure ozone is manually validated for plausibility. This compilation of all radiosonde measurements from Neumayer station contains all datasets that were and are published in the frame of BSRN. New data will be added regularly. |
