Description
Summary:Ice velocity time series for the Getz basin, Antarctica derived from European Space Agency Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellite data acquired from 2017 to 2018. This dataset consists of two annual gridded velocity mosaics provided in GeoTIFF format with a 100 metre by 100 metre grid spacing. The 2017 mosaic contains data from 2017.02.07 to 2017.12.29 and the 2018 mosaic contains data from 2018.01.04 to 2018.12.26. The associated spatially and temporally varying error estimate is also provided (see Selley et al., In Review). The modelled velocity data were produced using the BISICLES ice sheet model to interpolate velocity observations in time and space for 1994 to 2018 (see Selley et al., In Review). These data consist of 25 velocity products provided in GeoTIFF format with a 1 km by 1 km grid spacing. All data is geocoded using a Polar stereographic projection, with a central meridian of 0.0 decimal degrees, and a central latitude of -71.0 decimal degrees. All product units are m/yr.
