Description
Summary:Polar 6 conducted a systematic digital photographic aerial survey of the area of the Atka Bay from Neumayer Station on 04 January 2018. The total survey distance covered 1,232 km. The survey covered the western contour and central bay area but was not extended to the eastern Bay contour since no seals were seen on the bay ice in this area. At the same time, a WorldView 3 satellite image (Ortho Ready Standard 4 band Pansharpened NC and Panchromatic channels) was taken with minimal time deviation relative to the aircraft survey.
