| Summary: | This data set comprises cumulative ambient ice-nucleating particle (INP) concentrations measured at the U.S. Department of Energy's Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Eastern North Atlantic (ENA) observatory on Graciosa Island, Azores (39.0916° N, 28.0257° W). Our INP data were generated using a combination of online instruments, the Portable Ice Nucleation Experiment chamber (PINE), and an offline assay instrument, the West Texas Cryogenic Refrigerator Applied to Freezing Test system (WT-CRAFT), for aerosol particle samples collected on polycarbonate filters (with 0.2-micron diameter pores). |
