Description
Summary:Self-recording instruments were installed in the Drake Passage in February 1975. Approximately one-half were part of a short-term array. Data from these short-term instruĀments are described in Pillsbury, Bottero and Still (1976). This report is complementary to Report 65 and describes the data from the long-term array. The long-term array consisted of 2 subsurface tide gauges, 11 Aanderaa current meters and 8 General Oceanics current meters. The sampling interval of the instruments was one hour. The data are shown here through pertinent statistics, real time plots, progressive vector diagrams, stick figures, and spectra.
