Summary:This thesis is based on eleven months of fieldwork in the Evenki village of Kholodnaia in the Severobaikal’skii raion of the republic of Buriatiia and five months of archival research in St. Petersburg, Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude from 2007 to 2009.
