Summary:Valya attempts an interview with Ama (Koryak name), who is not that talkative. We listen to some stories from Omrilkota. We are in Ama's house, which is where Valya's older sister Tatiana Yatylkut used to live. King (depositor) stayed in that house in every previous trip to Pakhachi. Plus ambient audio recording. Left and right channels were swapped from original recording because I had Tascam set incorrectly with mics spread wide. This file has the correct L-R sound space. Vasili is her 10th child. Works in Institute for Advanced Teacher Training, Palana. She was born in a yaranga on the tundra. Also fluent (listening, reading, some writing/speaking) in English and Japanese. Alutor level is elementary.
