Valentina Alekseevna Tamocheva was born in 1948 in the village of Kostino, Birilius district, her parents were from the same place. Her mother talked to her in a Tutal Middle Chulym Turkic, but she answered in Russian. When she married in 1973, she learned the Chulym language from elderly women. Gennadiy Grigoryevich Tamochev was born in 1940 in the village of Kostino, Birilius district, his father was born in Staroye Amocheevo, and his mother - somewhere in the lower flow area of the Chulym river, in the village of Pushtakovo in Teguldet District.
