Glacial erosional features - lunate fractures

Lunate fractures have crescent shape in plan view. In cross section, lunate fractures have an asymmetric "V" shape, with shallowly inclined up-glacier side and a steeply-inclined down-glacier side. Glacier flow was, then, from left to right across this surface.
