This is a particularly well kept book; on pp.'s 126-132 and 250-251 are compiled lists of: number of whales taken/struck/lost, date, location, # of lines lost/sunk during courses of both voyages (listed separately); lists of number of vessels taken on board; list of vessels spoken by ship; last page, p. 252, contains notes by Capt. Barns of his chronometer being slow of Greenwich Mean Time, with dates of Sunday the 25th July, 1835 (date of next voyage, recorded in separate journal), and April-May 1835 bearings listed.
