Above the shamrock is the work 'Excelsior'. Printed words along the side edge of the postcard indicate that the postcard was by E. J. Sengstacker, Tomkins Cove, N. Y. and Made in Germany. Some other words are missing as a result of damage to the back of the postcard. The necessary postage is indicated as one cent in the United States, and Island Possessions, Cuba, Canada, and Mexico and two cents in all other countries.
