The dress is simple cloth. The hair is dark yarn, heald back by a woven headband. A stick runs horizantally across the dolls back, acting as a backboard. The doll clutches a woven basket, and the eyes are small beads. Artist Statement: "Lucinda came from Canada with her parents. They settled in the Lake George area. She continued the family tradition of basket-making. She often wanders through the forest picking up cones and seeds to put in the basket shop her father owns."
