Kroz ovaj rad bit će govora o spomenutoj korisnosti putem šumarstva i iskorištavanju šuma. U sam pojam iskorištavanja pridodajemo: sječu, obradu, preradu, privlačenje i izvlačenje drvnih sortimenata . No, prilikom rada u šumarstvu naš je zadatak zaštititi radnika, te ćemo zbog toga prikazati sve opasnosti i štetnosti. Također upozorit ćemo i na ozlijede na radu i prenventivne mjere kako bi se one mogle svesti na najmanju moguću mjeru. Sa šumama važno je pažljivo postupati kako bi izbjegli posljedice koje su štetne za sve nas.
