Description
Summary:Marine palaeoproductivity will be determined from measured values using core data from the Cretaceous Blodøks Formation and its equivalent formation in the Norwegian Sea. Data needed for such calculations included total organic carbon (TOC), hydrogen index (HI), sedimentation rate, and others. These data will be collected from public data sources such as the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate's online factpages, reports and published literature. By using multiple cores, the temporal and spatial variation of productivity can be described.
