Flat, sloped, arched, and multi-level roofs, from Newfoundland to British Columbia, are included in the 30 cases which will help designers make more realistic load assumptions in designing roofs. Cette série de descriptions, de croquis et de photographies de bancs de neige peu communs accumulés sur les toits est publiée en vue de compléter les renseignements fournis aux architectes dans le Code national du bâtiment 1965 et dans son supplément no. 3. Le dossier de trente cas de toitures plates, en pente, en dos d'âne ou en gradins couvrant des maisons situe'es entre Terre-Neuve et la Colombie- Britannique aideront les architectes à établir leurs pré visions de facon réaliste lors du tracé des toitures.
