Description
Summary:To make information on actual snow loads on roofs available to designers, this collection of descriptions, sketches, and photographs of the more unusual snow accumulations has been published to supplement the information for the more common types of roofs given in the National Building Code 1965 and its Supplement No. 3. Flat, sloped, arched, and multi-level roofs, from Newfoundland to British Columbia, are included in the 30 cases which will help designers make more realistic load assumptions in designing roofs.
